Arista Records
Arista Records was a major American record label. The label was founded in 1974 by Clive Davis, a senior executive at CBS Records. It became a wholly owned unit of Bertelsmann Music Group and eventually Sony Music Entertainment. The company operated under the RCA Music Group until its wind-up in 2011.
