This was Mitch Watkins' first LP as leader, released in 1989. His years playing lead with Leonard Cohen, Joe Ely, Jennifer Warnes, Bennie Wallace and K.T. Oslin had already matured his fusion roots and the results are, at times , breathtaking - lots of influences, lots of confidence and tons of energy with a Tribal Tech edge. Masterful use of effects and synth. Excellent sidemen are led by Dennis Chambers. Top flight!
